Biography

Joining the Bucks ahead of the 2022/23 season, Nathan is a left-footed defender with valuable experience and multiple promotions on his footballing CV.

Born in Leicester, he completed a scholarship at East Midlands side Notts County making his EFL debut in December 2009 as a substitute. Nathan was to leave the club in 2011 without making any further first-team appearances.

Nathan signed for Corby Town and then enjoyed a nomadic football existence, representing  Kettering Town, Rugby Town, Stamford, and Mickleover before playing for several West Midlands teams.

After leaving Hednesford Town in 2019, Nathan joined King’s Lynn Town. Nathan contributed 12 assists as the Linnets were promoted to the Vanarama National League, having secured promotion on PPG (points per game) owing to the Covid pandemic.

Nathan opted to sign for Alfreton Town, playing 14 times in another Covid-impacted season, before joining Buxton ahead of the 2021/22 season.

Another promotion followed, the Bucks winning the Northern Premier League, but Nathan was again on the move, signing for Peterborough Sports, another side promoted to the Vanarama National League North.

Sports secured a comfortable mid-table finish in the 2022/23 season, at which point Nathan accepted the challenge of trying to help the Bucks regain their Step 2 status.
