View PlayerByron joined the Bucks in February 2022, lending his experience of almost 500 games in the EFL to the Bucks survival campaign, and he signed a new deal to extend his stay in July 2022.
Byron’s career began at Crewe Alexandra, where he graduated from their academy to the first team; seven years with the Alex brought two successful Wembley appearabces, winning both promotion and the Football League Trophy.
In June 2014 he siught pastures new and joined Port Vale, and spent two years at Vale Park before securing a two-year deal at Bristol Rovers. Although he stayed for the duration of that contract, his opportunites became limited and he subsequently signed for Bury.
Financial turmoil at the club brought an abrupt end to his stay in Lancashire, and Byron headed south once more, to Plymoutn Argyle, where he was reunited whis his boss at Bury, Ryan Lowe.
Byron helped Argyle win promotion back to League One but was released at the end of the following season and signed for Torquay United after a successful trial period. Hi short-term deal wasn’t renewed and, returning to his home town of Crewe, he made the decision to join the Bucks.
