The club is pleased to confirm the signing of attacking midfielder Twariq Yusuf ahead of the 2023/24 season.
Twariq is reunited with Kevin Wilkin, who signed him for Brackley Town in August 2021.
Twariq made 31 appearances in his debut season with the Saints, scoring 3 goals; however, opportunities in the 2022/23 season were limited and he spent time on loan at North Leigh before being released at the end of the season.
Of the new arrival, Kevin Wilkin said:
“Twariq probably stagnated a little bit last season, if I’m honest. He probably didn’t have the games that he’d have wanted, but he’s a capable boy on his day. It’s our job to keep him up to his work and get him playing at the level he’s capable of on a consistent basis. He’s quick, and he’s got a bit of trickery, and if we can get him playing regularly we hope to see that progression in him; I’m looking forward to working with him again.”
