As you may have seen, our 2023/24 season awards evening will take place on 20th April 2024, in the evening following our final scheduled home league game versus Berkhamsted.

Some fans have asked, ”Why hold an event before the season ends?”.
It’s a question we had anticipated.
Absolutely everything is going into concluding the season with a play off final, but we can’t make any presumptions about what will transpire over the next three weeks and the uncertainty makes planning an event date challenging.
Following consultation with Kevin Wilkin, his staff and players, we decided to hold the event on 20th April to make sure that all of them were in attendance. Our season has been a fantastic team effort, and holding the event after the play offs might mean that some parts of the team would be missing, due to holidays etc.
We appreciate that the relatively short notice means that some supporters may already have plans that they can’t change, and we apologise for that.
Our target for this season was minimum play offs and that has been achieved, we have much to celebrate and reflect on. That’s partly why we don’t feel that recognising the group’s efforts needs to wait until our season has ended. The awards evening will very much be used as a platform to inspire us all into giving the play offs our best possible shot.
The efforts of Kevin, his staff and, of course, his players have re-energised the club. The smiles on faces around the New Buck’s Head show that this has been our most enjoyable season for some time.
We’re equally as thrilled to see you, our supporters, buying into the foundations Kevin has laid and make no mistake, they are foundations for the future which is looking brighter.
We hope you will be able to join us, or at least have your say on who deserves that extra recognition for their performances in a Bucks shirt this season.
Thank you to Kevin, his management team and the players for what has been a successful season to date and there is an absolute determination in the squad to keep our good form going into the play offs.
