Telford & Wrekin confirmed as a tier three area.

AFC Telford United can confirm that our home games are set to be played behind closed doors for the foreseeable future following this afternoon’s announcement that Telford & Wrekin and Shropshire has been moved into a tier-three area.

Today’s announcement means the home fixtures against AFC Fylde and Hereford will now be played behind closed doors at the New Bucks Head.

The government has said that it will continue to review which areas are in which tiers every two weeks and the next review is set to take place on January 13.

The club will email season tickets holders next week with an update on voucher codes for the streaming service ahead of the AFC Fylde fixture.

We urge everyone to follow the current guidelines to ensure we all play our part to stop the spread.

Stay Safe!
