We can confirm that we have agreed mutually to cancel Kyle Storer’s contract to allow Kyle to pursue a playing opportunity elsewhere.
Following recent discussions with manager Kevin Wilkin, Kyle was advised that Kevin would seek to utilise a younger core group of players going forward. Given that situation, it would have been unfair to Kyle to keep him to his contract, knowing he wished to be a more active contributor.
With another club having expressed an interest in Kyle, we allowed him to discuss a move away from the SEAH Stadium. We agreed to terminate his contract once that interest became a formal offer to Kyle.
Kyle departs the club with our thanks for his contribution over the last year.
