In his first season in charge Ben won the Midland Junior Premier League with an impressive 17 wins from his 22 league games.

As well as being involved with the Youth, Sohier has played a key role in working within our foundation department where he has spent several years coaching in the local community before he was appointed full time in 2017 to deliver our BTEC Level 3 in partnership with Coaching Connextions.
Ben will join Shrewsbury on a part-time basis and will continue his full time role at the club delivering of our education programme.
Football Operations Manager Luke Shelley “ Having worked alongside Ben for 10 years, we are all absolutely gutted that Ben will be leaving the Under 18s at the end of the season. Ben is an unbelievable coach and I always feared that this day may come. He has remained professional, loyal and committed for many years and although we are disappointed to be losing him we understand his decision. We would like to thank him for the role he has played in helping to develop and grow our youth set up over the years and we wish all the best for the future”
The process to replace Ben will start with immediate effect and an announcement will be made as soon as that process is complete.
