Match Guide: Alfreton Town


OUR GUIDE TO A MATCHDAY AT NEW BUCKS HEAD.

The Bucks begin a run of five home games in six with Saturday’s matchup against Alfreton Town.

The fixture will be segregated so Alfreton Supporters will be housed in the Frank Nagington Stand.

Prices are as follows:
• Adult: £16.00
• Concessions: £12.00
• Aged 12-18 – £5.00
• Under 12’s – Free

We would like to remind supporters that if you wish purchase on the day of the game in cash or by card, you can still do so at the ticket office.

The Ticket Office will be open on a Saturday match day from 1pm-3.15pm. For those supporters that require disabled access and those with carer assistance, you will be able to pay on the assisted gate which is based next to the club shop.

Ticket Offer

A reminder that any supporter within the 12–18-year-old category that purchases a ticket for the Alfreton Town fixture will be able to claim a FREE ticket for the Darlington fixture.

Any Supporter that wishes to claim their free Darlington ticket will need to bring a copy of their Alfreton Town Ticket into the club office before 4pm on Tuesday 1st November.

Car Parking

The main car park is situated behind the East Terrace and David Hutchinson Stand and is accessed via the Haybridge Road entrance postcode for this entrance is TF1 2NW.

The cost of Matchday parking is £3 per vehicle, payment should be made at the parking meter via card only. Should supporters wish to purchase parking by cash, they should do via the ticket office.

Please note: There is no match day parking on the hotel car park behind the University of Wolverhampton Stand

Club Shop

Our Club Shop will be open from 1.30pm through until kick off on every Saturday match day.

Gates

The stadium gates open at 1.45pm. Access for hospitality guests will be through hotel reception – this will be open from 1pm.

Match Day Programme

The Bucks matchday programme can be bought from sellers around the ground or from the club shop at a price of £3.00.

Snack Bar

Products on offer at the New Bucks Head which are provided by Mitchells Catering include burgers, hot dogs and pies confectionary and crisps. Cold drinks such as Pepsi, Tango, and Water are available from the kiosks. The snack bar for away supporters will be available in the Clean It, Frank Nagington Stand. Cash & Card will be accepted at the snack bar.

Win’s Bar

Win’s Bar will be open from 12 noon on a match day and is open for both home and away supporters. Leicester v Manchester City be shown live on BT Sport from 12.30pm

Kevin Wilkin is giving one lucky supporter the chance to travel to Blyth Spartans on the first team coach on Saturday 5th November.

Every supporter who purchases a drink in Win’s Bar on Saturday between 12 noon – 5.45pm will be automatically entered into a raffle draw.

The draw will be made at 6pm on Saturday night in Win’s Bar and the winner will be entitled to travel with a guest on the first team bus as well as two tickets into the game so don’t forget to join us again after the game.

The players will join you in Win’s Bar after every home game this season and will remain in the bar until at least 5.45pm

Stadium Bars

AFC Telford United can confirm the North Bar within the concourse will be open on Saturday from 1.30pm until 4.30pm.

This is a new initiative that the club will be trialling, and we will be welcoming supporter’s feedback.

Supporters will be able to purchase alcohol and soft drinks from the North Bar throughout the game with supporters able to drink in the designated areas in the North concourse or continue outside on the East Terrace. Alcohol will not be allowed to be consumed on the North Terrace.

Please note the East Bar Terrace will be closed.

First Aid

The First Aid Room can be located under the control tower. Please ask the nearest stewards if you require any further assistance.

Reporting an issue

If you hear someone behaving in an inappropriate manner, putting the Club at risk during a match day you are entitled to report them anonymously by texting 07572 236 037 which is a system that will be monitored from the control tower on a match day.

Fans who do behave in an inappropriate manner, bringing the Club into disrepute will face limited or lifetime bans, loss of their season ticket, or arrest by the Police.

AFC Telford United & BBC Radio Shropshire provide live match commentary on every fixture during the 2022/23 season on 96FM.
