Harry Flowers Departs

AFC Telford United can confirm we have agreed a deal for the permanent transfer of defender Harry Flowers to Southport FC for an undisclosed fee.

Paperwork between both clubs will be exchanged over the next 24 hours.

Flowers joined the Bucks from Curzon Ashton in March 2022 on a three-year deal where he went onto to play a key role in ensuring the club maintained their National League North status in May 2022.

The defender made 44 appearances for the club scoring 4 goals during his 14 month period but unfortunately could not prevent our relegation in April to step 3.

Since our relegation to the Southern Central League was confirmed Harry made It very clear he no longer wished to remain at the club and wanted to remain playing at step 2. Therefore we have reluctantly accepted his transfer request and agreed a deal with Southport for the transfer of his signature.

We would like to wish Harry the best of luck in the future.
