Hardy has called on his teammates to show their promotion credentials by claiming victory at Gloucester City.

After an eye-catching start to the National League North campaign James Hardy has called on his teammates to show their promotion credentials by claiming victory this evening at table-toppers Gloucester City.

Midfielder Hardy has been a regular starter for Bucks’ so far this term and feels Telford must deliver an example of their ambition at Gloucester’s New Meadow Park tonight.

Speaking exclusively to Lewis Cox from the Shropshire Star “I’ve seen the table and they are up there. If we’re going to be where we want to become at the end of the season we have to go to these places and get three points so that’s the main aim,”

“When you go on a little run of not winning you just want to get that win and kick on from there. It’s still early days, but we need to get a win sooner rather than later.”

The Bucks sit seventh, with two wins, two draws and two defeats from six games going into tonight’s clash. Hardy, a National North winner with AFC Fylde, added: “If we get three points tonight then the draw against Southport looks like a good point. We’ve just got to back it up with three points.

“The lads are really positive and the gaffer still believes in us and is giving us confidence.

“Once we get that win hopefully we can start putting in performances similar to the first few games and just kick on.”

With supporters not allowed to travel to the game this evening, Gloucester are providing a live stream of the game. Tonight’s game is available for £7.99 https://play.webvideocore.net/popplayer.php?it=7umraho3pbgo&is_link=1&w=720&h=405&pause=1&title=Gloucester+City+AFC+vs+AFC+Telford+United&skin=3&repeat=&brandNW=1&start_volume=100&bg_gradient1=%23ffffff&bg_gradient2=%23e9e9e9&fullscreen=1&fs_mode=2&skinAlpha=50&colorBase=%23250864&colorIcon=%23ffffff&colorHighlight=%237f54f8&direct=false&no_ctrl=&auto_hide=1&viewers_limit=0&cc_position=bottom&cc_positionOffset=70&cc_multiplier=0.03&cc_textColor=%23ffffff&cc_textOutlineColor=%23ffffff&cc_bkgColor=%23000000&cc_bkgAlpha=0.1&image=https%3A%2F%2Fmember.streamingvideoprovider.com%2Fpanel%2Fserver%2Fclip%3Fa%3DGenerateThumbnail%26clip_id%3D3125370%26size%3Dlarge&mainBg_Color=%23ffffff&aspect_ratio=16%3A9&play_button=1&play_button_style=pulsing&sleek_player=1&stretch=
