AFC Telford United Foundation are appealing for supporters to help spread some festive cheer by donating to the Christmas Kindness initiative ahead of the festive period.
As Christmas approaches, it is important to remember that many families locally will be struggling this Christmas and with this in mind, we are looking for donations of toys that our foundation staff can help deliver to those families who are most in need.
Any donations of new or nearly new toys, would be gratefully received in the club office ahead of the Banbury fixture.
The Bucks are also collecting food to support those less fortunate within our community. The food should not be chilled or frozen and have plenty of shelf life still left on it.
Seasonal products such as minced pies, biscuits and Christmas cakes/puddings would be particularly welcome as well as items such as tinned goods. We will then be working alongside Give Someone a Sporting Chance and Telford Crisis so that those in need can benefit from your generous donations.
Your items can be left at the club offices from today and will end on Friday 20th December
