AFC Telford United are delighted to confirm that George Burroughs has joined the club on a Youth loan from Coventry City.
The 19-year-old centre half has progressed through the Sky Blues Academy, signing as an Under 9s player and recently playing with the U23s
Throughout his scholarship at the Alan Higgs Centre he has played predominantly as a central defender and has captained the Under 18s team through the majority of the past two years.
George has also been involved in the Scotland Youth Set Up.
Subject to the FA clearance, George trained with the Bucks on Thursday night at Lilleshall and will join the squad for tomorrow’s trip to AFC Fylde.
