We would like to give an update on the parking restrictions now in place on the Hotel/West Stand Car Park.
These new restriction have been put in place by The Whitehouse Hotel without any consultation with ourselves or any discussion on how we could make the parking, within this jointly owned car park, work for everyone.
The Whitehouse Hotel’s new parking system will not permit customers of AFC Telford United, the West Stand, Rise Fitness, the Vaccination centre or Shropshire FA to park in any of the white lined car park spaces as fines will be issued for doing so. Therefore, to avoid the new parking enforcement cameras we are asking all visitors to NOT use the car park entrance off Regent Street and to enter via the Haybridge Road entrance (opposite Wellington Fire station and Telford College) and park in Blue Bays only outside the West Stand or anywhere within the Football Club’s main car park.
This will allow you 2 hours’ free parking. If your stay will be over 2 hours, then this can be paid for at the payment machines within the main car park or online.
We can’t stress enough that if you receive a parking fine on the Hotel car park, we will not be able to help with any disputes or cancelling the fines.
