Club Statement – Club Receives Formal Warning From The Football Association

AFC Telford United can confirm we have this evening received a formal warning from the Football Association following incidents at the FA Trophy tie against Solihull Moors.

The warning relates to one incident which saw a small group of individuals encroach onto the playing area following Daniel Udoh’s late winner.

The letter from the FA containing the warning notice specifically states that disciplinary action against the club may be considered ‘if further reports of spectator misconduct should be received and The Association reserves the right to refer to the current matter in such circumstances’.

Several incidents also occurred during the second leg against Leyton Orient and these are still being investigated. We await to hear the response from the FA
