Club Statement; Car Parking

Following reports in the Shropshire Star today, we are extremely disappointed to hear that patients for the vaccine centre have been issued parking fines by the Telford Whitehouse Hotel. Unfortunately AFC Telford United do not control the Hotel car park. We have signage in place for patients to enter the site from Haybridge Road entrance and park on the football club car park and walk around to the vaccination entrance.  We urge people to park on the football club car park, not the Hotel car park.

The football club offered the vaccine facilities at Telford United for the benefit of the local Community, again we would like to express our disappointment regarding these fines and we will try and work with Wellington Pharmacy and the Whitehouse Hotel to improve people’s experience whilst getting the vaccine.

In the meantime please make sure if you are going to the vaccination centre you enter from Haybridge Road and park on the football club car park where parking is free for 2 hours and this period of free parking is in place to avoid this type of issue.
