AFC Telford United would like to remind supporters about our zero-tolerance policy with regards to throwing objects.

Ensuring the safety of a supporters, players and staff is always of paramount importance to AFC Telford United and the throwing of objects is very dangerous and a serious offence.

As a result of investigations from the Coalville Town incident, we can confirm that a 14 year-old supporter has received a life ban from the New Bucks Head.

Within minutes of the match referee reporting the incident and due to the excellent work of stewards and the club’s CCTV we were able to identify the individual who was removed from the area and taken away by police.

We would also like to remind supporters that if there are incidents of this nature reported, then the Football Association have the power to impose serious financial penalties on the club which can result in us closing areas of the ground.

The club urges all supporters to assist us by reporting any incidents to the club and help us to eradicate this behaviour.

You can also contact the club in confidence about any incident you wish to report or discuss after any game by calling 07874  615 397 or emailing [email protected]
