AFC Telford United can confirm summer signing Chris Lait is set to depart the club to re-sign for previous club Tamworth FC subject to completion of paperwork.
Boss Gavin Cowan made the decision to circulate Lait’s name following a number of disciplinary issues during and on return from a spell out injured.
“Chris has undoubted ability which was a major factor in me signing him. However, ability will only get you so far and I must put the group of players and the football clubs standards before any individual. This outcome is best for all parties concerned!”
AFC Telford United would like to wish Chris the best of luck at his new club.
