We are delighted to announce that Matty Brown has been named our new first-team captain.
The 6ft 4in commanding central defender brings a wealth of experience to the backline having won promotion twice from the National League North, once with Halifax Town in 2007 and more recently with York City in May.
The 32 year-old has experience of wearing the armband, having been captain regularly during his days with York City and Halifax Town.
We wish Matty all the best for the season ahead.
