Injury Updates

We are optimistic that Matty Stenson and Byron Moore will soon overcome injuries that prevented their selection this weekend.

Harvey Solley is also injured, having damaged ankle ligaments. Harvey’s season is effectively at an end, which is hugely disappointing not only for Harvey but also for the club.

Whilst currently on crutches and with a period of rehabilitation ahead of him, Harvey will still attend first-team training where possible and has our full support as he regains full fitness.

Twariq Yusuf unfortunately had to withdraw from the Tanzania squad for the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) after contracting an illness. Following a period of recovery at home, Twariq will be back with the first-team squad this week.

Loan Update: Clarification

In last week’s update, we stated that George Forsyth would not be permitted to play against the Bucks in our forthcoming fixture with Kettering Town, to whom he is on loan.

As part of our negotiation with Kettering over extending George’s loan for the rest of the season, we agreed that we would NOT prevent George from playing in this weekend’s scheduled fixture. This was miscommunicated last week and George is free to play for the Poppies if selected; we apologise for the error.
