Alvechurch FC: New Fixture Date
Our Southern League Premier Central fixture with Alvechurch FC, postponed on 2nd March 2024, has been rescheduled.
The new details are as follows:
Date: Tuesday 19th March 2024.
Kick-off: 7.45 pm
Venue: Lye Meadow, Alvechurch, B48 7RS.

Player News
Injury Updates
Nathan Fox remains our only significant injury absentee.
Harvey Solley is making rapid progress following his injury and he has been playing once more for our under-18 side, scoring in their fixture against Rugby Town.
Loan Updates
Billy West is currently on a dual registration loan at Whitchurch Alport to gain more playing time. Billy started for Alport on Saturday, in their home game against Lichfield City.

Our next home fixture is on Saturday, 16th March 2024, when we will host Stamford AFC in the Southern League Premier Central division.
This fixture is our final designated ‘Community Day’ of the 2023/24 season, and there will be lots of activities taking place
Ryan Young will be our special guest In hospitality for the game, and he is very much looking forward to his return to the New Buck’s Head.
Ryan will take part in a Q&A session from 2 pm onwards and there’ll be an opportunity to submit your questions for him, as well as to catch up with him outside of the Q&A.

Carolyn Hornby is currently taking bookings for coach travel for Hitchin; as soon as Carolyn can secure a coach for Alvechurch, bookings for that game will be taken too.

As always, making an early booking is encouraged; this reserves your seat and allows Carolyn to assess whether the coach can run, as minimum numbers are usually required.
To assist with this, bookings for Hitchin should be made no later than Wednesday 20th March.
Getting Shirty
In truth, that’s the last thing we want to do, but we saw something on social media last week that we liked, so we wanted to share it.
There can’t be many of us who haven’t seen fans holding up handmade signs requesting a player’s shirt.
Although it’s rare, our players do occasionally receive requests for their shirts from young supporters.
We love that your passion for the Bucks makes a shirt something you prize, but we hope you will understand why the players have to say ‘no’.
Unfortunately, we aren’t in a position where we can allow players to give away their shirts to supporters, so we hope that any requests that are turned down aren’t taken to heart too much.
We hope you’ll agree that the message the young Chelsea fans in the pic are giving is what we all want to see from the Bucks, and is something that can be shared by every one of us.
