AFC Telford United will kick off their 2022/23 National League North campaign by hosting Chorley at the New Bucks Head on Saturday 6th August.
The fixture will see a repeat of the opening game of the 2021/22 campaign which score the Bucks run out 3-0 winners at home thanks to goals from Theo Streete, Elliot Durrell and Jack Byrne.
Paul Carden’s men will then travel to Spennymoor Town and Kettering Town before heading back at home on Saturday 20th August when relegated Kings Lynn Town visit the New Bucks Head. The Bucks will finish the month with Southport (away) and Buxton at home on Bank Holiday Monday (29th August).
With the Premier League & EFL stopping in November for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, the National League North will continue all the way through.
The Christmas season begins with the Bucks starting the month of December with a home fixture against new prompted Banbury United (Sat 3rd Dec) followed up with an away trip to Bradford Park Avenue on Monday 5th December. We will then travel to Chorley (10th Dec) before welcoming Kettering to the New Bucks Head on Tuesday 13th December.
Boxing Day football will see AFC Telford United host Chester with the away fixture being played at the Deva Stadium on New Year’s Day. .
The Bucks will finish the season at Boston United on Saturday 29th April.
