"Bucks and Bulls lock horns at the SEAH Stadium"

Match Date : February 10th, 2026 7:45 pm
Competition : National League North
Ground : New Bucks Head
Kick Off : 19:45

After defeat at Worksop, the Bucks will be looking to bounce back on Tuesday when Hereford visit the SEAH Stadium.

Following the arrival of former Birmingham City man Paul Caddis as manager in April 2023, up until this season the Bulls had been showing steady improvement. In his first campaign in charge, Caddis guided Hereford to their highest ever finish and highest points total since reforming (11th, 69 points), and he repeated the trick last season too (10th, 76 points) – the Bulls missing out on the playoffs by a single point.

This season has been a very different story, though. In the summer, Hereford lost some big players in the shape of defensive duo Sam Robinson and Tate Campbell (both Buxton) and attacker Jaiden White (Sutton United), while key attackers Omari Sterling-James (Hednesford) and Remaye Campbell (Hemel Hempstead) have departed mid-season. It has left the Bulls struggling for consistency, and they’ve found themselves mired in relegation trouble for most of the season.

Currently second bottom with 22 points from 23 games, Hereford have not been helped by drainage issues at Edgar Street that have left the Bulls unable to play home games since 10 January, while they haven’t played at all in February so far. It means that Caddis’ side have played considerably fewer games than everyone else in the division, so the Bulls may well be in a false position. That said, Hereford are winless in six in all competitions and have picked up only two points from their last five in the league.

The Bucks haven’t beaten the Bulls in the nine encounters since Hereford reformed. But while Hereford have won four of those games, fixtures between the two sides have always been tight – neither side has scored more than one goal in any of those matches, with a total of just ten goals across the nine games between the sides to date. That trend continued earlier this season when the two teams played out a 1-1 draw at Edgar Street in October.

Kevin Wilkin’s men dropped their first points of 2026 on Saturday, falling to a 3-1 defeat at Worksop. But the Bucks remain one of the division’s form teams and haven’t lost at home in the league since 4 November. Currently just one point off the playoff places, the Bucks will be looking to bounce back from defeat and push on up the table with a good showing against the Bulls on Tuesday evening.
