After victories against Darlaston, Droitwich and Port Vale respectively, AFC Telford Women are back on home territory this afternoon as they welcome Coventry City looking to make it 3 wins from 3 in the league.

After last weeks 3-1 victory away at Port Vale, the side with be full of confidence that they can build on the solid start to the season. This fixture is sandwiched between further away games as they then go on to face Walsall Wood in the FA Cup before travelling to Sandwell Ladies in the league.

The Sky Blues travel to Telford with one point from their opening 2 games after a defeat to Port Vale on the opening day before a draw away at Sandwell Ladies. This is the first time the two sides have met, however we have faced the development side on two occasions in our first ever season in the Birmingham County League.
