Following an early pitch inspection at Garden Walk, our fixture with Royston Town, scheduled for today (20th January) with a 3 pm kick-off, has been postponed.
Unfortunately, the freezing temperatures mean that the pitch has been declared unplayable, and despite the air temperature rising during the day, it has been deemed unlikely to thaw in sufficient time.
We thank Royston for their efforts to both get the game on, but also to save our supporters and team a wasted journey and expense.
A new date will be agreed in due course and publicised via the club’s usual media channels.
