A new month means the Enterprise National League has been considering its monthly awards for Manager and Player of the Month.
The Bucks’ excellent January has been recognised on the North awards shortlist, with a nomination in each category.
With a 100% league record and an against-the-odds victory in the FA Trophy at Hornchurch, it’s no surprise that Kevin Wilkin has been nominated as Manager of the Month for a second month in a row.
The Bucks’ nine points from nine contained two resounding away victories, with the 8-0 defeat of Curzon Ashton and a 4-1 victory at Merthyr Town, as well as a home victory over King’s Lynn Town.
In the Player category, it’s Bucks’ midfielder Remi Walker whose claims for the prize will be considered by the panel.
Remi contributed four assists in the victory at Curzon Ashton, netted the match-winner at Hornchurch and was on the mark at Merthyr as well – with a goal and assist at Spennymoor, Remi clearly fancies the February prize too, but it’s January the panel will consider.
Here are the shortlists in both categories.
Enterprise National League North Manager of the Month
- John Rooney (Macclesfield)
- Kevin Wilkin (AFC Telford United)
- Phil Brown (Peterborough Sports)
- Neil Danns (Southport)
Enterprise National League North Player of the Month
- Shaq Coulthirst (Peterborough Sports)
- David Davis (Kidderminster Harriers)
- Isaac Buckley-Ricketts (Macclesfield)
- Remi Walker (AFC Telford United)
The winners will be selected by a panel made up of Aaron Mclean (DAZN), Matt Badcock (Non-League Paper) and Sam Elliott (Enterprise National League).
The winners will be announced publicly in the week commencing Monday, 9th February 2026.
Congratulations to both Kevin and Remi on being shortlisted – the Bucks are evidently getting noticed!
