The draw for the fifth round of the Isuzu FA Trophy took place on the afternoon of Monday, January 12th, and the Bucks have been given the incentive of a home draw should they overcome Hornchurch FC in our fourth round tie.
The winner of the tie between the Bucks and the Urchins will host National League side Yeovil Town on Saturday, 31st January 2026.
The rest of the fifth round draw can be viewed on the FA website (link below)
Before our thoughts can turn to the Glovers, the Bucks must overcome Hornchurch in Tuesday evening’s rescheduled fixture, which was postponed on Saturday (10th January) owing to a waterlogged pitch.
Hornchurch has advised us that the pitch is now in much improved condition. Any further rain is not anticipated to cause an issue, so the only way is Essex for the Bucks.
We understand there will not be a supporters’ coach running to the game, but we know supporters will still travel by other means. We wish you all a safe journey, and thank you for your support – it means a great deal to the team.
For those unable to travel, our social media channels and smartphone app will keep you up to date on major events at Hornchurch Stadium, and there will be match commentary on BBC Radio Shropshire.
