In Memoriam: Steve Wynn

It is with sadness that we share news with you of the untimely death of our former fitness coach, Steve Wynn.

Steve, or ‘Wynner’ as he was more widely known, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, 8th October.

‘Wynner’ served as coach under the management team of Rob Smith and Larry Chambers during their first spell at the club, from 2006 to 2010. Steve’s relationship with Rob and Larry was a key element of the success we enjoyed during that period, and he is remembered with great affection by many who enjoyed his company.

Steve served the Bucks and several other clubs under Smith and Chambers, with spells at Telford, Hednesford Town, Willenhall Town and Redditch United. Steve rejoined the Bucks in 2015 when Rob and Larry were appointed for a second time, but stepped back in 2016 owing to work commitments.

We will pay a more extended tribute to Steve in the near future, and we extend our sincere sympathies to his family and friends, and indeed to anyone who held him in their hearts.

Thank you, Steve – Numquam Obliviscere
