Alex Fletcher rejoined AFC Telford United ahead of the 2025/26 season, returning to familiar territory after an earlier spell with the Bucks earlier in his career. A product of the Shrewsbury Town academy, Fletch first featured for Telford shortly after leaving the Shrews, gaining valuable experience before going on to represent clubs including Rushall Olympic, Stafford Rangers, Stourbridge, and Tamworth in the National League North.
A composed and hard-working midfielder, Fletch brings leadership, consistency, and know-how to the Bucks’ engine room. Since returning to the club, he has been a steady presence in the side, and has taken on the captain’s armband following Luke Rowe’s departure during the 2025/26 campaign.
