Biography

Following three years in the youth system at Wolves, Dudley-born Matthew had spells in the USA before returning to the UK, where he established himself as a goalscorer par excellence, most notably with Kidderminster Harriers in 2009.

From there he has been a nomadic figure, representing clubs the length and breadth of Britain as well as in Sweden and back in the USA, scoring goals along the way.

Matthew combines playing with a coaching role at the Bucks and 2021/22 will be his fifth season at the New Buck’s Head.
