We would like to introduce a new level of TUSA membership which entitles the member to additional savings on the official AFC Telford United supporters coach. Although we have a core of fans who regularly use the away coach, it was becoming a struggle to keep the costs down and ensure that we could afford to run a coach to every away game.
TUSA have kindly offered to donate £300.00 annually towards the cost of those trips which, due to being undersubscribed, would be at risk of not running.
In the past, TUSA have donated money to the club towards the cost of equipment, overnight accommodation for FA Trophy game in Spennymoor and player sponsorship amongst others, as well as regular monthly donations from supporters who are part of our standing order scheme. However it was decided that something had to be given back to the fans and we hope to do this in part by supporting the away travel.
There will be 2 levels of TUSA membership:
1) Current basic membership of £5
2) Travel club membership of £15
The £15 will include £5 for TUSA and £10 for away travel which will entitle the member to a further discount of £2 on every trip throughout the season – league games only.
Please note that the usual £2 discount will still apply to anybody who books and pays in advance of the day of travel.
Every TUSA Travel Club member will be entered into a prize draw to win a hospitality package in Lillywhites.
While we are still unsure about how many fans will be allowed into grounds in the 2020/21 season, we are preparing to issue a note of times and prices soon after the fixtures are announced and this will again be posted on the Away Travel page on the main website.
At the moment, coaches will run at 50% capacity which may mean that we need to increase the prices slightly but will look to refund this in some way as the season progresses and we are allowed to take more fans up and down the country.
