We are delighted to announce the signing of forward Ricardo Dinanga.
Kevin Wilkin’s pursuit of the signature of the 21-years old Irish winger has ended successfully. It strengthens the Bucks forward line, with Ricardo having netted 3 goals in 2 pre-season appearances for the club, exciting much interest as the ‘goalscoring mystery trialist’.
Born in Cork, Ricardo left Cork City Under 19s in July 2021 to sign for EFL side Coventry City following a successful trial period with the Sky Blues.
Ricardo enjoyed loan spells at both Hereford and Nuneaton Borough during his two years at Coventry but became a free agent upon the expiry of his contract at the end of June 2023.
“He (Ricardo) had some games at Nuneaton last year, where we were lucky enough to see him. He played in the play-off final (vs Rushall Olympic) and he’s at a good age. He did well in the pre-season games in which he’s featured, and hopefully we can be a stepping stone for him in his ambition to get back to the full-time game; he’s a good fit for us and hopefully we can be a good fit for him, as a club that wants to progress.”
Ricardo, who has dual citizenship with the Democratic Republic of Congo, has signed a one-year deal with the Bucks.
Welcome to the New Buck’s Head, Ricardo!
