Dom McHale Signs

AFC Telford United are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Dominic McHale.

McHale came through the Manchester City Academy before joining Barnsley on an 18-month contract in February 2014 after leaving City by mutual consent.

Dominic went on to spent several years in the Non-League with Northwich Victoria, Salford City, Hyde United before he joined Ashton United in August 2018.

In August 2019 he joined League 2 team Oldham Athletic having trained with them over the summer period but only made one appearance.

In March 2020 he joined Ashton United.

Boss Gavin Cowan was thrilled with his latest addition. “We’re really pleased to have secured Dom, he worked exceptionally hard over the last few months with us and impressed to the point where we feel he will have a heavy contribution on what we do”

McHale “ Really grateful to the manager for giving me the opportunity, from here it’s only onwards and upwards. Can’t wait to get started and delighted to sign for such a big club as AFC Telford”

Everyone at AFC Telford United would like to welcome Dom to the club
