Player of the month- October
Congratulations too all our October player of the month winners.
Under 10 Girls- Peyton Findlater
Peyton has produced some outstanding performances in October and shown massive progress despite not playing football prior to this season. She puts in 100% effort in both training and games and her workrate is second to none.
Under 11 Girls- Lily Morrissey
Lily has worked tirelessly this month to improve on the areas of her game that she has struggled with in training. Her development in these areas have shown scoring some great goals.
Under 13 Girls- Abi Harris & Mya Yee
A shared award for the Under 13 Girls. Abi, a new signing has fitted in well working hard and improving each week, chipping in with her fair share of goals. Mya continues to be a constant goal threat and her workrate causes issues for defenders.
Under 15 Girls- Leah Davies
Leah has taken to her new role extremely well working hard in her goalkeeper training and her distribution from the back gives the side a different dimension, culminating in a girl of the match performance in a friendly against Albrighton Under 16s.
Under 17 Girls- Milly Hall & Grace Bloomfield
A shared award for the Under 17 Girls. Grace, a natural defender has offered versatility in a number of positions, displaying a great attitude in the process. Milly continues to be solid at the back becoming a natural leader and contributing to their unbeaten league campaign.
Under 18 Girls- Beth Charnell
Beth has been in fine form for the Under 18 Girls, keeping the side in a number of games with some unbelievable shot stopping. Beth was rewarded for her fine start to the season making her debut for the Ladies side in the local derby v Shifnal.
Under 10 Boys- Sam Wardlow
After a tough start to the season Sam has had a superb October playing a huge part in a 100% month. His performance away at Nuneaton was superb and was the key player when under intense pressure to help secure the win.
Under 11 Boys- Jackson Lucas
A new signing, Jackson has been solid as a rock at the back with solid decision making and work out of possession. His wand of a left foot has seen his net a couple of goals too from free kicks.
Under 13 Boys- Jasvir Takhar
Jasvir has had an outstanding month with has brought him to the attention of Aston Villa. He’s been solid, quick and a rock at the back even chipping in with a first glass goal against Boldmere.
Under 14 Boys- Nathan Hawley
An outfield player who has stepped up to play in goal for the last 6 weeks due to injuries. Keeping 2 clean sheets from 3 games during October has seen the side unbeaten throughout the month. A great attitude in a difficult situation.
Under 15 Boys- Brian Castle
Brian has been exceptional this month netting 4 goals and assisting just as many. He has been instrumental in a changing team after 3 successive defeats to going unbeaten in 4, winning 3.
Under 16- Felix Agyekum
Another new signing this season, Felix has fitted perfectly with his new team mates. His direct play and speed on the right wing has been a problem for opposition left backs netting 4 goals.
Under 18- George Scott
George has led the team over the last few weeks making some important saves at important times. He has also impressed when stepping up to train with the first team.
