Player of the Month- May
Under 11 Girls- Lilly Fallon
Coming in as a goalkeeper hasn’t been the easiest of jobs but Lily has made some crucial saves in important games. She continues to work hard in training and her determination and willingness to learn is superb. A real asset to the side who is a pleasure to coach.
Under 12 Girls- Roxy Jones
After making her way back from injury, Roxy has worked her way back into the side with a number of solid all round performances, picking up a number of goals in the process.
Under 14 Girls- Jen Morrow
Joined the team towards the end of the season as a goalkeeper and thrown in at the deep end against some tough opposition. Always enthusiastic and keen to learn, she gives 100% in every match making some top quality saves in the process.
Under 16 Girls- Rachel Taylor
Rachel has reverted to a goalkeeper this season and has worked extremely hard on this change attending extra sessions when possible. She continues to grow into the role in a difficult league.
Under 18 Girls- Katy Cameron
Another superb month from Katy has seen her pick up the player of the month capping off a tremendous season. She displays exceptional work rate and desire both going forward and defending. Her performances have also been carried into the Ladies side becoming a regular in the squad.
Under 10 Boys- Oscar Northwood
Topping off an excellent season with some inspiring performances and sealing the win for the side in the last game of the season to guarantee a second place finish in the end of season league competition.
Under 11 Boys- James Wesley
Initially signed as a squad player, Jimmy forced his way into the matchday squads post lockdown and has been ever present since with a number of fine performances. Calm and composed on the ball, this centre midfielder is a pleasure to work with and always willing to learn.
Under 12 Boys- Jacey Oliver
A top quality player, unfazed about playing in any position and produces man of the match performances wherever he plays. A pleasure to coach.
Under 13 Boys- Ben Corfield
In a superb month for the Under 13 Boys, Ben was at the heart of everything, be it in CM or CB, his leadership has developed throughout the season and he’s been a real leader in tough games.
Under 14 Boys- Alex Sharpe
An intelligent player who’s bought into the sides philosophy. He’s had a great end of the season playing as a number 9 in difficult fixtures whilst grabbing goals and assists.
Under 15 Boys- Nathan Hawley
Since reverting to a back 3, Nathan has been ever present for the side as a left sided centre back and has been superb. Defensively aggressive and a tidy ball player he is a well deserved winner of the award.
Under 16 Boys- Scott Grant
As a right back with a tendency to play attacking football, Scott is a technically gifted player and put in an impressive performance against the Under 18s early in the month. He possesses great decision making and defensive skills.
Under 18 Boys- Ethan Pickford
An overall impressive month for Ethan leading the line for the Under 18s Boys. He grabbed a brace in the game against Boldmere to take the side into the end of season play offs. A pleasure coach and work with he is always willing to learn and develop.
