Robbie Evans

Date of birth: 5 June 1995

Arriving at the New Buck’s Head in March 2022, Robbie was reunited with his former manager Paul Carden and helped to preserve the Bucks as a National League North club.

A proud Welshman, Robbie was born in Penycae and made his debut for his local team Wrexham aged just 16, in April 2012. He was to become the club’s youngest ever captain when he took the armband for an FA Trophy victory over Gresley in 2013, and he went on to make over 150 appearances for the Red Dragons.

Released by manager Dean Keates, Robbie decided that the only was was Essex in May 2017, signing for Billericay Town. After helping them to promotion to the National League South, Robbie returned closer to home when he signed for Warrington Town, managed by Carden.

The following season he returned to Step 2 with Curzon Ashton, and after two season in Tameside he switched to fellow National League North club Alfreton Town.

Carden recruited Robbie for the Bucks survival bid later that season, and in summer 2022 he signed a deal to confirm his return to the club for the 2022/23 season.
