Nate Blissett

Date of birth: 29 June 1990

Nate returned to the Midlands when he signed for the Bucks in summer 2022, having spent two years with Maidenhead United.

Born in West Bromwich, he came to the attention of Kidderminster Harriers when scoring 13 goals at Romulus FC in the 2011-12 season. He signed a one-year deal at Aggborough before joining Cambridge United on loan as well as spending time at Hednesford Town.

A loan to Bristol Rovers became a permanent deal in January 2015 and he helped the Gas win promotion. He was loaned to Tranmere Rovers although he did make his football league debut for his parent club in October 2015.

Another loan spell at Tranmere Rovers and one at Lincoln City preceded a permanent move to Torquay United on an 18 months deal in the January 2016 transfer window.

His eight goals in 17 games for Torquay earned him a move to EFL league to side Plymouth Argyle. Loaned to Macclesfield Town, his five goals in 16 games helped the Silkmen win promotion to the National League as champions and he signed permanently for them after his release from Plymouth.

In December 2018, Nate joined Solihull Moors, scoring twice on his debut in a 4-0 nil victory at Chesterfield. He scored 15 goals in 52 games across two seasons with the Moors before a move to fellow National League side Maidenhead, where he spent two years before joining Telford.

He has a family footballing pedigree as his father’s cousin is the former Watford AC Milan and England striker Luther Blissett, a prolific goalscorer in the 1980s.
