Born in Birkenhead, Luke signed for local side Tranmere Rovers, the team his maternal grandfather Terry Stephens also played for. He made his full debut for Rovers on 29 April 2017, facing Maidstone United in the National League.
He subsequently made his EFL debut in the 2019/20 season, but was to move on in September 2020, signing for Notts County. Luke left Meadow Lane at the conclusion of the 2020/21 campaign and signed for Stafford Rangers.
Paul Carden, his former manager at Rovers and who also took Luke to Warrington Town on loan, swooped to sign the talented keeper in early 2022 and he signed a new contract to commit himself to the Bucks for the 2022/23 season.
Luke has representative honours for Wales, playing for them at Under-20 level.
