View PlayerArriving at the New Buck’s Head in January 2022, Liam’s loan from AFC Fylde was made permanent in March, and he signed a deal to tie him to the club until the end of the 2023/24 season.
A tall, defensive midfielder, Liam’s football career began at Crewe Alexandra, where he made 26 appearances for the Gresty Road club. During his two years with the Alex he also spent time on loan to Southport.
A permanent move to Accrington Stanley kept him in the EFL, although once again he headed out on loan to Salford City. A one year deal brought him to FC Halifax Town in July 2019, and after a short stay at Macclesfield Town, one where he did not make any appearances for the Silkmen, he was on the move to AFC Fylde.
The early cessation of the 2020/21 season cut short his opportunities with the Coasters, and finding himself out of favour he took up the offer of a loan to the Bucks, where he was a key figure in helping to maintain the club’s National League North status, scoring crucial winning goals against Curzon Ashton and Spennymoor Town.
Liverpool-born Liam’s Northern Irish heritage has seen him represent his country’s Under 21 side.
