Born in Coventry, left-footed attacking midfielder Kai signed for the Bucks after impressing in trial games ahead of the 2021/22 season.
Kai began his football career at Coventry City, but wasn’t given the chance to turn professional at the Sky Blues; he then joined Coventry United, in August 2016.
He joined Bedworth United for the 2017/18 season, returning to Coventry United the following season. He signed for Stratford Town on St.Vaalentine’s Day 2019.
A move to Tamworth in August 2019 followed, but was shortlived and Kai moved on to Barwell at Step 3. His performances in the curtailed 2020/21 season caught the eye of watching clubs.
The Bucks made their move for Kai in summer 2021, Gavin Cowan securing his services and he came to prominence in late 2021 / early 2022, scoring his first goal for the club with a dramatic injury-time equaliser at Gloucester City in October.
More goals and good performances followed, but a double fracture in his foot suffered in January 2022 required surgery and ruled him out for the rest of the season; however, Paul Carden exercised an option to extend his stay to include the 2022/23 season.
