The publication date for the National League fixtures is Wednesday, 9th July 2025; however, we already have some dates in our diary for our pre-season fixtures and the regular season.
Pre-Season
Pre-season kicks off on Saturday, 12th July 2025, with a visit to Step 3 rivals from last season in Harborough Town. A 3 pm kick-off is scheduled at Harborough Town Community Football Ground – What3Words Location
Three days later, on Tuesday, 15th July 2025, our first home fixture sees us welcome EFL League Two neighbours Shrewsbury Town to the SEAH Stadium, in a 7:45 pm kick-off.
The following weekend, we will be back on the road, but not for long – just a short hop a couple of junctions along the M54, to be precise. Shifnal Town will host the Bucks on Saturday, 19th July 2025, in a 3 pm kick-off at the Acoustafoam Stadium – What3Words Location.
We’re in action again in midweek, when we face an under-21 side from Premier League side Aston Villa at the SEAH Stadium on Tuesday, 22nd July 2025, kick-off at 7:45 pm.
The SEAH Stadium will also host our fifth pre-season game, with JD Cymru Premier side Connah’s Quay Nomads providing the opposition on Saturday, 26th July 2025, at a 3 pm kick-off.
Our final away fixture of pre-season is on Tuesday, 29th July 2025, when we travel to Keys Park to face Hednesford Town at Keys Park in a 7:45 pm kick-off. The Pitmen are managed by former Buck Gavin Hurren, assisted by another ex-Buck, Lee Vaughan – What3Words Location.
Finally, we wind up our preparations for a new season with a home game at the SEAH Stadium on Saturday, 2nd August 2025, when a Wolverhampton Wanderers under-21 side provides the opposition in a 3 pm kick-off.
Regular Season
In addition to these, we know when the regular National League season will start and end, and also have some potential knockout competition round dates.
Season starts: Saturday, 9th August, 2025.
Season ends: Saturday, 25th April, 2026.
Emirates FA Cup
The Football Association has published the dates for their knockout competitions, and the Bucks will enter the Emirates FA Cup at the second qualifying round stage, which is one round later than last season.
In the Isuzu FA Trophy, the Bucks will enter the competition at the second-round stage, which is two rounds later than last season.

The Bucks will find out who they face in the second qualifying round on Monday, 1st September 2025, two days after the first qualifying round.
There are replays in the FA Cup up until the First Round in November, when all ties revert to being settled on the day of the match.
The National League fixtures, when published, will therefore have a ‘blank’ Saturday on Saturday, 13th September, and may also have a further ‘blank’ two weeks later, in anticipation of the majority of Step 2 clubs progressing to the third qualifying round. If we were to progress to this stage, this date would no longer be blank, so you may want to reconsider booking anything else for that day, rather than assuming we don’t have a game.

The National League fixtures, when published, will therefore have a ‘blank’ Saturday on Saturday, 15th November, and may also have a further ‘blank’ four weeks later, in anticipation of the majority of Step 2 clubs progressing to the third round.
Again, it might be best not to assume this is a Saturday without a fixture!
