Club Statement: Solihull Moors

AFC Telford United can confirm that our pre-season friendly against Solihull Moors which is scheduled for Saturday 30th July will now be played behind closed doors away from the New Bucks Head.

Following the recent break in at the stadium where significant damage was done to the pitch, we have now scheduled some further renovation work which will be carried out after tomorrow’s fixture against Walsall.

This work will then allow us the opportunity to give the pitch 21 days rest before we host Chorley on the opening day of the National League North season on Saturday 6th August.

We would like to thank Solihull Moors for their full cooperation with regards to moving of the fixture and we hope that both sets of supporters will understand the position we have been put in.

Full coverage of the fixture will still available via our social media channel
