AFC Telford United have been awarded funding from the Football Foundation to install the latest upgrades to their CCTV security and monitoring to deter anti-social behaviour and increase customer satisfaction through Hikvision.
Supporters of Telford are set to benefit from fresh investment into local football facilities thanks to a £14,000 grant from the Premier League, The FA and Government’s Football Foundation. The club have also invested a further £26,000 towards the upgrade.
The system, which will be recording at the stadium 24 hours a day, includes several high resolution cameras which have the ability to provide improved facial recognition throughout the stadium and its environs.
In addition, the system includes cameras in the concourses and outside the stadium as well as a tracking system to follow individuals and, when required, footage can be used for court evidence.
These improved facilities will represent a significant improvement on the existing which was the original system that was put in when the ground was built.

We pride ourselves on providing an inclusive, family friendly environment at the Bucks Head and this brand new CCTV system will allow our staff the opportunity to hopefully prevent any anti social behaviour within the site of the ground”

The new system was installed by Archer Security who are a leading security system supplier for homes or business premises in Telford.
