It was the final weekend of September and the fourth match day for 12 of our Youth sides.
Our attention turns firstly to our Under 14s Boys who were looking to bounce back from a first defeat last week as they faced Stourport Swifts Jaguars. It was a one sided game with the Bucks registering 6 unanswered goals and a first clean sheet of the season. Goals came from Anthony Duah, Brian Castle, Jayden Williams, Christian Swann, Hanoch Boayke and Charlie Timmins. Meanwhile the Under 15s Boys registered back to back 5-2 victories with a win away at Solihull Moors. The Reuban Payton, Reece Clayton partnership struck again as they shared 4 goals equally. The pick of the goals coming from defender Luke Ward, a sweet 25 yard volley on the turn.
The Under 18 Boys made it 3 clean sheets in a row with a dominant 9-0 victory over Solihull Moors. It was one way traffic after the visitors went down to 10 men on 20 minutes as both Tom Hughes and Rif Ata grabbed hat tricks supported by further goals from Josef Pratt, Liam Walton and David Jones. It was also 3 clean sheets on the bounce for the Under 10s and goalkeeper Izzy Vincent as they were comfortable winners at home to Church Stretton. Addison Davies, Darcey Fulcher, Rosie Davies, Miyah Jones, Caitlin McCoole, Isabel Barnett, Jasmine Cooper, Lia Corbett, Lily Morrissey and Amiera Markland all found the back of the net for the young Bucks. Meanwhile the Under 17s Boys went down 3-0 away at Eckington Juniors.
The Under 13 Boys made it 4 wins from 4 with an emphatic 11-1 victory away at Halas Hawks. Preston Whinnerah made it 11 goals from just 4 games with a staggering 7 goals. Aidan McCann chipped in with a brace with Jack Tranter and Dylan Millington completing the scoring. The 100% record continued for both our Under 10s and 11s Boys with wins against Coventry Sphinx Juniors and Solihull FC respectively. Kian Nolan grabbed a brace with Ethan Rowland chipping in with one for the Under 10s whilst George Cruise continued his run of scoring in every game this season with a hat trick for the Under 11s. Logan Whittaker and Jack Davies completed the scorers.
Nykeshia Reed led the way once again for the Under 16s with her second successive hat trick in a 6-0 win over Solihull Sporting; Abbie Norry, Kaitlyn Richards and Maia Heywood-Richards completing the scoring. However it was a disappointing day for the 16s Boys as they fell to defeat against local rivals Shrewsbury Town.
We end our round up with both our Under 12s sides. The Boys got back to winning ways whilst registering a third clean sheet in four games with a 2-0 win at home to AFC Birmingham. Ryley McPartland opened the scoring with Raj Ansah completing the scoring late in the game. Finally it was a goal fest for the Girls as they hit double figures against Wrekin Lionesses. No less than 6 players found the back of the net with Mya Yee netting 6, Darcy Miller (3), Elle McCallum (3), Frances Creen (2), Amelia Smith (2) and Eden Wallace.
In total our sides registered 82 goals on Saturday and will be hoping for more of the same heading into October.
