The Bucks registered a fourth successive league win in a
tight contest with few clear chances. Darryl Knights was the home side’s

with creating any clear openings. Moors’ Mark Anderson went closest, his wicked
free-kick from 20 yards just clearing the top left-hand corner of Josef
On 27 minutes, the Bucks were awarded a penalty; Brendon
Daniels cut into the penalty area and was adjudged to have been fouled,
retaking his feet to beat Gould decisively from the spot. There then followed a
15 minutes spell which the Moors would have been grateful to come through
unscathed, as Daniels in particular gave right-back Jake Hibbs a torrid time.
After the break, the Moors regained their composure, and on
56 minutes a classy finish from Glen Taylor drew them level, beating Bursik
across his body with a deft shot. However, the Bucks retook the lead when
Knights scored from 20 yards, beating Gould’s dive, and despite a late Moors charge,
the Bucks held firm.Spennymoor Town
